We Love The Zoo

Wednesday Madeline and I went to the zoo with our great friends Misty and Brooke. I am proud to announce that Misty is now a MEMBER of the zoo, so we can go whenever we want at no cost to us! Nice.

We were able to get to the zoo by noon (quite an accomplishment for mommas with babies on a schedule) WITH both our strollers in the trunk, thanks to Misty's quick thinking and my cunning bungee cord skills.

We spent several hours seeing all the fun animals. The Memphis zoo really is one of the best zoos out there. Some highlights... we were able to see the polar bears swimming around and getting their fish Popsicles.

And another fun thing that I was not aware of was that in the new bird house they have you can purchase a stick with bird seed on it for $1 and the little birdies will sit on the stick and eat the seeds.

It was so awesome! AND with all those little birdies flying around we didn't get pooped on the entire time! Of course, when we were in the bird house Mads was asleep so she didn't get to do it, but we will go back and try again some time when she is awake.

Here are the girls when we left... Can believe the look on Madeline's face? I don't think I have ever seen her so irritated and angry in my life. hahahahahaha
