Loud Licker

If Kitty were a character on a Seinfeld episode her label would be "Loud Licker" because every night, as soon as we all get settled and it gets quiet, she begins her nightly routine of bathing herself. I've had a lot of cats in my lifetime and NONE of them have slurped with such a ferocious intensity as kitty does. This girl wants to be clean.

I love her, but I also know that this nightly routine leads to one of the reason I don't think we will have another pet after Kitty leaves us (which I honestly hope won't be for a long time) - fur ball spew in several different areas of the house usually on the carpet. The thought of it disgusts me to the core. So, when the spit bath (literally) begins, I give her a swift nudge off the bed... and I don't feel a darn bit sorry about it either!!
