Abby, Who Is Two.

Abigail Lily was born January 1st, 2011 (1/1/11) at 9:40 pm. She was 8 lbs. 6 oz. and 21 inches long. A little about our sweet girl:
  • She loves to laugh. She pulls funny faces at people; listens to funny songs over and over; and loves to tickle people.
  • She loves to sing, and she demands everyone else in the room sing  along with her. If I am  not singing when one of  her favorite songs is on she yells, "Mom!!!" and looks at me like she is waiting.
  • Her favorite foods are pomegranate, spaghetti, raspberries, mashed potatoes, and soup - all kinds. She also loves anything that is on mom's plate.
  •  She is constantly making a mess. Her wrestling name would be "Tornado Toddler".
  • She is very, VERY independent. She wants to do absolutely everything by herself.
  • She loves Dora The Explorer and Diego.
  • She is very courageous, daring, and trusting. She climbs, slides, and swings by herself at the playground. We often find her in cupboards, on top of dressers, in closets, on chairs.
  • She helps herself to whatever she wants, and if we don't help her, she finds a way by pushing chairs all over the house.
  • She knows how to operate an Iphone and Ipad, better than most adults.
  • She loves to help cook, and stir, and hold the beater, and whenever she helps you she looks up at you with a proud grin and yells, "hepping!! (helping)".
  • She LOVES her family. Her best friend is her sister Madeline. They have a great time playing, riding bikes, reading books, jumping on beds and furniture, and laughing together.
  • She is doing very well with communicating. She discovers a new word every day and is so much fun to talk to.
  • Abby is very shy, and she covers it up by growling at people or pulling a really dark frowny face. It is a glorious thing to see her in her comfort zone, with people she knows and loves - she is a completely different person.
  • She recently found she loves books. Her favorite is a book called Kitty Up. We read it about  50 times a day.
  • She loves to give kisses and hugs and will immediately hug someone who looks sad.

Abigail is a beautiful, loving, sweet, hilarious little girl and we are so happy she is in our family.
