It's very cool to say...
"Why yes, I do have my Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing... indeed."
This is me in my gown... the gown and cap are very flattering, aren't they? I think I look like a Victoria Secret model personally. It was windy and hot and humid outside - really hot - and I had to put my cap and gown on outside - very irritating.
This is a picture of just my nursing class. There were about 70 of us.It's a bit blurry, but Paul and the family were pretty high up.
This is a picture of the whole graduating class. To save time, they did half the graduating class at 10:00 am, and then another half at 2:00 pm. It worked better so we weren't sitting there for 5 hours.
And here is the huzzabus and I after graduation with my diploma holder. They mail the real diploma to you later.
Thumbs up!
My Mom arrived on Friday night! I was very excited to see her. This is her first time visiting us here in Memphis. I wore this to the airport...
While they were here we also took them to see Graceland. If you come to Memphis, you should go to Graceland just to say you have been. It was my third time going because every time someone comes to see us, they want to see Graceland. We got some good pictures I will have to post later.
My momma is still here with us until Friday so we are out having fun and showing her around Memphis. Yesterday we took her to see the houses we are looking at for possible purchase in the near future. I love having her here.
I officially accepted the job offer to work in Surgery and I went and filled out all the paperwork and got my TB test and physical done yesterday. I start orientation on June 4th, so right now I am focusing on preparing for the NLCEX-RN exam to get my RN license.
These are busy times! Busy, exciting times, and I am very blessed!
