People are starting to rub my belly. Even people I don't know will come up to me and rub my belly and go...
"awww, hello baby!"
I don't really mind the people I know, but strangers? I mean, babies are pretty cool and I'm glad they bring out such happiness in us all, but there are limits people.
I grew out my fingernails to distract from my swelling hands. Now it just looks like you have well manicured sausages coming at you when I reach out to shake your hand.
I took my glucola test on the 16th and it came back a little high. This doesn't necessarily mean I have gestational diabetes. It means I have to go back Tuesday and take the 3-hour glucola test.
The glucola test is a test that most OBGYN's have you take around 24-28wks of pregnancy to determine whether or not you have gestational diabetes. This website explains it well I think if you are interested in reading more about it.
Regardless of the results, we will do what we have to do to grow a happy, healthy baby. This experience has helped me realize I need to do a little better at watching what I eat. We're hoping for the best though - that I am NOT a GD.

good luck with the tests. Regardless- things will work out!! Keep us posted. On the other topic-I just can't see why you wouldn't find that completely normal- having PERFECT strangers touch and rub your belly- I mean come on- once your belly extends beyond your feet, it's practically public property anyway. Just my opinion ;) ;)
