My entire family and some of our dear life long friends were there. They made a shower video where everyone said something to us. They took lots of pictures and had a game where everyone guessed the due date and Madeline's height and weight.
Here is a picture of the delectable shower food. MAN I wish I was there. It looks SO GOOD. Amber did send Paul and I some delicious monkey bread and a cake mix to make so we could have our own shower food.

We got so many wonderful gifts! The cutest clothes, accesories, and shoes ever! My sister-in-law Kris made us the most adorable blanket. I can't wait to put this stuff on Madeline. It's going to be like having my own little doll to dress up all over again - accept this one is real.

Then Amber packaged it all up - very neatly and organized I might add - and sent it off to us here in Tennessee. It arrived in perfect condition. This is after it has been unwrapped a few times from paper and bubble paper...

Here's Paul with the shower box. We had a really good time opening it and unwrapping all the gifts. And yes, if you look closely, there is a reminder in this picture... Lunch at the Olive Garden for soup, salad, and breadsticks is ONLY $5.95!! Don't miss out!

My mom and Amber will be coming to Tennesssee for a week to help out after we have the baby. They are arriving on September 9th (my due date). This will be the first time Amber has been here and the first time my mom and Amber have seen our house.

Edith- I'm so sorry that I couldn't make it to the shower. I was out of town- down in Albuquerque for a wedding. I was sad to miss it. Looked like a lot of fun. Good luck with everything! Let us know when whe gets here!
That was the sweetest thing EVER!!! How nice of them to go ahead and do a shower for you, even though you're miles and miles away. What great family!
Emily,
That is okay! Thanks for the wishes of luck! We will definitely let everyone know when she gets here!
Kim,
I know, my family truly rocks. I love them so much. I feel very blessed.
SWEET!!! What a fun idea. And from the looks of the "loot" it appears that your adorable Madeline will be the finest looking baby in all of Tennessee. Gotta love that ;)
