Certificate

I came across this little award last week when Paul and I were organizing our files. It's a very special certificate that was granted to me in 2005 by the Adoring Mothers Association (AMA). It was presented to me, Edith Ann, in recognition of my "valuable contributions to the entire world as we know it." Signed by my mother and apparently the Pope.

The Adoring Mothers Association is an association run soley by my mother, Susan. The AMA or American Medical Association is an association of physicians dedicated to the health of America and although these two associations share initials, they had no relation. And although it would be cool, no, the actual pope did not sign my certificate.
