Update

I spent all last week trying to overcome a cold... yea, I got the cold Paul had. I tried everything not to catch it (wiped down things with clorox wipes, refrained from hugs & kisses, etc.). It's harder to overcome a cold when you are pregnant because you don't want to take anything that might harm the baby. Also, your body has more circulating volume so your phlegm production is quadrupled. Yummy! Anyway, I am on the very tail-end of it now and almost 100% again.

Things are going great with the pregnancy. I'm 16 weeks along (yesterday). Our last visit with the doctor went well. I don't have to take the blood pressure meds she prescribed last month. Paul and I took my BP for a month morning, noon, and night and documented it to take to our next visit. It was fine, so she agreed it wasn't necessary. Phew! Our next doctor's appointment is April 21st when we will have our ultra sound to determine if we are having a girl or a boy! I am very excited.
Sometimes I feel pregnant, sometimes I don't. Sometimes my stomach feels huge and I can feel hardness really easily and other times it's so soft I wonder if I am just fat. I am truly looking forward to having a pregnant belly. I say that to my friends and family and they usually say,

"Oh, you say that now, but when you have one you will wish you didn't"
and I think...
"No, I really am excited. I will be excited then. what are you talking about ya goof?" I don't actually say that though. Just think it.

The house is looking more and more like a home. We really love it. We got our bedroom set finally last Friday and it is awesome!! The bed is extremely comfortable. We bought a fake down comforter that is really soft and these pillows that apparently stay cool. They are pretty nice.

Kitty is adjusting to sleeping downstairs pretty well. We were upstairs in the guest room until our bed set came and she really became used to it. She still naps up there sometimes. I am slowly trying to get her away from that room cause I don't want her bugging our guests.
