Okay... I can't stop thinking about whether or not I should make this blog private or not. It's obviously bothering me. Look what I did this morning when changing Madeline's diaper. I put ANOTHER diaper on her instead of her pants! My mind is somewhere else.
I know, I know... you're thinking,
"Sheesh, what is up with this lady? She was so SURE in the previous post that she was going private. How annoying! First she says she is going to go private. Then she says she isn't. Make up your mind already - Flip Flopper."
There is no need for name calling. Maybe I will just take the month of April to THINK about making it private. What do you think? What would YOU do?
I have been thinking about changing my URL though. "eyesofthebeholders" was just something I thought of, spur of the moment, when I first started my blog. It doesn't really fit me and my blog, and it's hard to remember if there is an "s" at the end or not on the "eye" part or the "beholder" part.
Hmph.
Just go ahead as planned with providing me with your info. and I will make my final decision later.

So I'm one of those "people" with a private blog. In order for people to view your blog and or leave comments they have to have a gmail email address. So that's kind of a pain, but the peace of mind I have is well worth it!! It also obviously limits the number of people who read your blog.I have a whoppin 26 people who can look at my blog, of which maybe 5 or 6 ever leave comments. Kind of like the last post you had a friend say hi, I came upon your blog through so and so's. That most likely won't happen, since once you go private if you don't know them, they can't see your blog. So there you have my opinion on your current issue!!
I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum on this issue. My website (it's bastone.org, if you're interested...) is public, but that's only because I don't mind who can find it. But even though it's open, I don't get all that much random traffic through.
I think it really comes down to personal choice. My sister-in-law took her blog private, and she's happy with it.
I was always going to make mine Private months ago and have not for a few reasons. You do have to log in everytime you want to check someones blog and that can be a pain and then also not very many people check private blogs because of having to take that extra step! SO I too have been debating for months now, and that is why mine is still not private! I know it would be better so others are not looking at it that I don't want, but then again it has been great to have people find me that I have not talked to in forever, but then I don't like having the other people that I don't know looking at it! So I am with you sister it is a hard decision and good luck with it. If you do go private please add me I left my email address on your last post! Thanks girl.
lol, lol, I love that baby, she is chunkalicious. I love her, I just wanna sqeeze her! what a doll, I am not private because you are the only one that reads my blog anyway. I haven't really thought about it.
