Messy Maddy
I've come to accept that mealtime is a messy time nowadays. Especially if I am going to give Madeline the chance to learn how to feed herself. It's been an adjustment for me and Paul both. How can I, or ANYONE for that matter, not have fun with it when these faces come along with the gooey highchair and splattered walls?

What a cutie! Your posts are so fun. Have you tried letting her eat chunks of bananas? It's really funny. (Be careful though because it can leave brown stains on her clothes.)

Yes, alas, my little lady really dislikes the bananas. I've already ruined so many cute outfits with stains... it's sad! haha

I feel the same way. Lately Sawyer grabs the spoon out of my hand and wants to do it all by himself! I want him to learn, so that's good, but it sure is messy! Sadie still will let me feed her so I guess I will only have one messy kid to clean up for awhile longer!
