The party was very fun, and once again we had an amazing time together! We always have a good time together so I knew this wouldn't be an issue.
In preparation for the shin-dig, I set up a table, hung a banner, and some balloons. I picked out a birthday hat - every party has to have hats. This year I made Paul wear a King's hat because he is of noble birth. Last year I made him wear a sponge bob square pants hat - he must really love me, ha!
I think he had a good time.
Once Paul got home, I prepared his dinner and set out his plate. Since I am on the lemonade diet I just sat with him and drank a lemonade while Paul ate.
This year Paul chose a beefy birthday dinner.A filet (cooked medium-rare, just how he likes it)
garlic mashed potatoes
green beans
and corn. Mmm Mmm Mmm!
Here's Paul, about to blow out the candles... Make a wish!!
He probably wished he could take off that hat.
He probably wished he could take off that hat.
Here's a closer look at Dessert... a Baskin Robins Vanilla Ice Cream cake.
Mmmmmmm!
After dinner and cake, Paul opened his presents from me...
A black tie (I ironed the other one he has and ruined it - oops! ),
Some dark chocolate truffles,
A high tech dart board,
And a card.
I actually found a card with my name already on it! I had to get it...

We ended the evening trying out the new dart board. Paul is an awesome dart thrower!! I, on the other hand, need some practice.
Good times!
The crown shall now be passed down to the heir of the throne...

Such will power! How on earth did you not partake of such a fabulous dinner and beautiful cake! I surely would have failed the diet and had a bite or two. I'm proud, so proud.
Haha thank you.
It sounds stupid and infommercial-ish, but food no longer has power over me!
Well I truly wish it didn't have power over me!!
Join me, flower child! (do you remember that from our childhood? haha). You should try the cleanse some time.
