It can't be good for a sweet, innocent baby, who is happily sitting on a blankie playing with her toys, to see her momma using one of her toys, as she spouts "Die! Die! Die!!!", to crush a spider that has just surprised her.
They're here. Spiders are starting to come out of the dark and into my home, my car... you name it.
The other day, Mads and I were out and about and when we got home I reached in to get her out of her car seat and THERE WAS A SPIDER ON HER FOREHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Without hesitation I grabbed it and crushed it between two of my fingers. I was slightly surprised at my lack of fear when it came to Madeline.... in any other situation I would have done the wiggle dance and run away. Needless to say, my car was thouroughly cleaned before we got in the car again.
Kitty is some help, she sees a small spider and she usually plays with it and eventually eats it. She's not so helpful with the big ones though.
Creepy crawly creatures better watch their backs... webs and such will NOT be happening in this house.

Oh, that would have freaked me out! I really hate spiders and when I see one and Lance is home I make him kill them. But lately he is always working so if I see one I have to take it on by myself! :)
I agree with you, eeeeeeek! I've trained my oldest son to kill them for me.
